# Animation Exposure Sheet > Turn drawing holds into a precise animation timing sheet. Enter how many timeline ticks each drawing lasts and a frame rate. Calculate drawing start times, total duration and GIF timing rounded to 10 milliseconds. Part of usefulweb.app (https://usefulweb.app/). Results are deterministic calculations from the inputs and the listed assumptions; the API returns exactly what the web page shows. ## Use it - Human interface: https://fliplineexposuresheet.usefulweb.app/ (interactive tool at https://fliplineexposuresheet.usefulweb.app/tool) - JSON API: POST https://fliplineexposuresheet.usefulweb.app/api/v1/calculate with a JSON object of inputs (schema: https://fliplineexposuresheet.usefulweb.app/api/v1/tool) - OpenAPI: https://fliplineexposuresheet.usefulweb.app/openapi.json - MCP (Streamable HTTP): https://fliplineexposuresheet.usefulweb.app/mcp - tool `flipline_exposure_sheet` ## Inputs - holds (text): Drawing holds (ticks, separated by commas) - fps (integer): Timeline frame rate (FPS) ## Method - A drawing held for N ticks lasts N × 1000 / FPS milliseconds. Start and end tick positions are half-open intervals. - GIF stores centiseconds. Each drawing duration rounds independently to the nearest 10 ms; the reported GIF total may differ from ideal playback. - 1–24 drawings, holds of 1–10 ticks and 1–30 FPS. No uploaded files are needed.
